Both Indiana and New York are coming off their worst seasons in its respective franchise history. I'm looking for both teams to come out scoring in trying to turn things around in exciting fashion.
The Liberty gave up 84.8 points a game last season. Defense remains a question for them. But their offense should pick up with rookie Asia Durr, the No. 2 overall pick, joining forces with Tina Charles, who averaged just under 20 points a game.
The Fever should improve offensively, too, with the addition of 6-foot-8 Teaira McCowan, the No. 3 overall pick in the draft. The Fever put up the second-most shots in the league and aren't afraid to fire from 3-point range.
