The Giants are the better team and have the better starter and stronger bullpen. The price is low enough to back Madison Bumgarner, who is one of the best road pitchers in baseball.
Bumgarner is 8-2 with a 1.75 ERA in a dozen road starts this year. The southpaw also is 7-2 in day games with a 3.14 ERA and is 2-0 with a 1.80 ERA in three lifetime starts against the Mets with 23 strikeouts in 20 innings.
