Stephen Nover's Puck Line Play of the Month
(NHL) Toronto vs. Tampa Bay, 01/27/2016 2:00 PM, Score: 0 - 1
Point Spread: -1.50 | 130.00 Tampa Bay (Home)
Result: Loss
Tampa Bay should roll here so my recommendation is taking a plus price rather than lay more than 2/1 in expectations of the Lightning winning by more than one goal. Even if somehow the Maple Leafs can surprisingly stay within a goal, which I wouldn't expect, they would be vulnerable during the final minute when they pull their goalie.

Tampa Bay had won seven in a row until falling this past Saturday at Florida. The Lightning have had three days off to regroup motivated by that defeat. Tampa Bay ranks 13th in scoring and eighth in fewest goals given up. Toronto has the second-worst power play in the NHL and has managed only 11 goals during its last nine games.

Toronto had to play last night. Some of the Maple Leafs probably will stay in Florida during the All-Star break so focus and fatigue are likely issues. Tampa Bay has defeated the Maple Leafs the past three times it has hosted them.
