Stephen Nover's Eastern Conference Game of Month
(NHL) Pittsburgh vs. Tampa Bay, 05/20/2016 4:00 PM, Score: 3 - 4
Money Line: 149.00 Tampa Bay (Home)
Result: Win
The Penguins have been able to negate the Lightning's speed while doing a much better of controlling the puck. The result is Pittsburgh is now up 2-1 in this Eastern Conference Stanley Cup championship series after losing the opener at home.

The Penguins thoroughly outplayed the Lightning in winning Game 3 at Tampa, 4-2, this past Wednesday.

But these teams are very close. Tampa Bay is not outclassed. Heck, the Lightning entered Game 2 of this series having defeated the Penguins four consecutive times. I see the Lightning coming out extremely focused and the pendulum swinging back Tampa Bay's way.

I highly doubt Ben Bishop returns for this game. But Andrei Vasilevskiy has filled-in well at goalie. He hasn't been the problem. The Lightning gave up 48 shots on Wednesday. The last time Tampa Bay surrendered that many shots on goals was 2011. The Lightning's defense is much, much better than that especially with Anton Stralman back.

Tampa Bay is a strong possession team and has had proven success on home ice winning 67 percent of its past 98 home contests. I see the Lightning coming through in their biggest home game of the season.
