Beating preseason is about having and processing good information and also knowing the quality of back-up quarterbacks.
Green Bay backup Brett Hundley was one of the top preseason quarterbacks last season finishing second in passing yards with 630, compiling a 129.6 quarterback rating and leading the NFL with seven touchdown passes. Hundley, though, isn't likely to play because of an ankle injury.
It's doubtful Aaron Rodgers plays at all. This leaves the Packers down to a pair of practice-squad quarterbacks, Joe Callahan and Marquise Williams.Both are undrafted rookies. Neither player is expected to make the final roster. Williams played at North Carolina while Callahan played at Wesley College, a Division III program.
Andrew Luck is going to play in this game for the Colts. The other Indy quarterbacks are veteran Scott Tolzien and Stephen Morris, both of whom are much better than Callahan and Williams. Tolzien knows the Packers well having played for them the previous two years.
