The Canucks are a young team with tempered expectations, but they've battled back from a poor start to put themselves back in the hunt for a playoff run. They are 5-0-1 in their last six home games, and veteran netminder Ryan Miller has been very sharp during that span. Miller is 7-0 in his last seven home starts, holding opponents to two goals or less in all seven games. He's 12-4-1 with a 1.98 GAA overall at home this season, and Vancouver's home record of 17-6-3 is one of the best in the Western Conference. The Canucks catch the Sharks in a bit of a let down spot, coming off a 3-1 home win over Chicago. Home ice has been a bit of a curse when these two teams have played in recent seasons, as the road team has won 10 straight. I am writing that off as an anomaly, and it's also worth noting that the Canucks won five of those 10 games outright, despite being an underdog in all five games.
