The Bruins host the Caps in their third game of the season, and they are 1-1 coming off a loss at Detroit. The Caps lost their home opener in a shootout versus Montreal, and it could have been worse, as the Habs had two goals disallowed. Goals won't come easy for the visitors tonight, as Boston allowed fewer goals than any other team in the Eastern Conference last season.


Tuukka Rask is the reigning Vezina winner and he's looked sharp in both games so far this season. He only had to face 16 shots in a 3-0 shutout win the last time the Capitals came to the Garden.

Washington has a new coach, but this team still appears to have all the same problems. Their defense and goaltending is below average, and there isn't enough secondary scoring after Alex Ovechkin.

The Bruins depth, defense and special teams superiority should give them the upper hand tonight.
