The Jets struggle to score at the best of times, so losing their top player in the season opener has really gotta hurt. They managed to pick up a win against Phoenix, but it gets a helluva lot tougher tonight at The Shark Tank.

San Jose put the league on notice in their opener, they mean business this season. The Sharks played with chip on their shoulder after sitting and watching the Kings raise banners and celebrate last year's Stanley Cup win. There were several speeches referencing the comeback from down 0-3 to the Sharks in the first round. When the puck finally dropped, San Jose owned the defending champs, dominating the play from start to finish.

Tonight I expect this team to return home, and put on a show for the home fans. Last year's failures are not forgotten, and a win at L.A. in the opener doesn't mean they can let up any here at home against an inferior Jets team. San Jose should win the battles on the boards, they should dominate shots on goal as well as special teams, and the result will likely be a blowout win.
