Schule's NHL PRIMETIME PUNISHER
(NHL) Edmonton vs. Vancouver, 10/11/2014 6:00 PM, Score: 4 - 5
Money Line: -165.00 Vancouver (Home)
Result: Win
This is an 8* play on the Vancouver Canucks.

Vancouver still has the same core group of players that went to the Stanley Cup Finals four years ago, losing in Game 7 to the Bruins. The Sedin Twins have both won scoring titles, and they should still have a few good years in them. Ryan Kesler left for Anaheim in the off-season, but Radim Vibrata has come over from Phoenix, and has had a great pre-season playing on the top line with the Twins.

The captain (Henrik) had a goal and an assist in the win over Calgary, a Vbrata scored the game winner with Henrik and Daniel assisting.

The Oilers then lost their home opener to the Flames just 24 hour later, and it looks like it could be another tough season for Edmonton. They Oilers haven't had much success in Vancouver in recent seasons, losing 11 of their last 14 visits to Rogers Arena.

Ryan Miller has won all seven of his career starts versus the Oilers, and that trend should continue here tonight.

Take VAN.
