(NHL) Winnipeg vs. NY Rangers, 11/01/2014 3:00 PM, Score: 1 - 0
Money Line: -167.00 NY Rangers (Home)
Result: Loss
This is an 8* play on the New York Rangers.

The Jets are set to play their third game against a New York team in five days as they will take on the Rangers at Madison Square Garden. They started the trip by defeating the Islanders 4-3 but lost the second game 2-1 after shootouts against the Devils. The Rangers have had almost a week off since their 5-4 win versus the Wild and should come in here well rested.

Rick Nash had one goal and one assist in the victory, leading the team with nine goals and five points total. The goal production has not been an issue for the Rangers as they've scored 27 goals over nine games, decent enough. It's in the other end they've been found wanting, but Henrik Lundqvist has looked better recently posting a 1.62 GAA over his last three home starts.

The Jets on the other hand have not looked sharp on offense, and are expected to struggle tonight as well as they've had trouble with Lundqvist in the past with the Swede going 4-2-0 behind a 2.01 GAA the last three seasons. Winnipeg averages only two goals per game, the fourth worst average in the league.

The Jets have another game as soon as tomorrow as they travel to Chicago, and I think fatigue will play a factor tonight as they are in the middle of a four game road trip.

Take NYR.
