Three consecutive wins have Vancouver sitting in the sixth spot in the West, but their situation is far from comfortable. They are only three points clear of eighth place Calgary, and the defending champion Kings are banging on the door just one point behind the Flames. Needless to say, every game at this point remains a "must win". That's not the case for the visiting Avs, who are coming off a loss to the cellar dwelling Oilers in Edmonton last night. This game means less than nothing to Colorado, who with 10 games remaining already have one foot on the golf course. Starting goaltender Semyon Varlamov was pulled after allowing three goals on seven shots last night, and he's been lit up for nine goals during a three game losing streak. Eddie Lack has been stellar for the home team, going 6-2-1 with a 1.95 GAA in his last 10 starts. The money is pouring in on Vancouver, and for good reason. Get in on this one as quick as you can, because it could be 2-1 by game time.
