The Dallas Stars had been on a bit of late surge, winning seven of eight prior to last night's game at Edmonton. Any hopes of getting back into the playoff race were dashed though with a 4-0 loss to the Oilers. The Canucks have a hold on a playoff spot for now, sitting three points ahead of ninth place Calgary. They can't afford another half-assed effort like we saw on Thursday though, as they were rocked by the Avalanche in a 4-1 home loss. I expect them to bounce back tonight against a road weary Dallas team playing on back to back night's in what is essentially a meaningless game for them. Vancouver has the second most wins in the West since the All Star break, and we get a reasonable price to back them at home tonight.
