Schule's NHL THURSDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN - VAN@CHI
(NHL) Vancouver vs. Chicago, 04/02/2015 4:30 PM, Score: 1 - 3
Money Line: -155.00 Chicago (Home)
Result: Win
This is an 8* play on the Chicago Blackhawks.

The Canucks are coming off back to back road wins, and they have a chance to complete a sweep in the season series versus the Blackhawks. I think Vancouver will be a victim of it's own success tonight, as they run into a Chicago team that is still fighting for first in it's division. The Hawks are not going to like the idea of being swept by their bitter rival Vancouver, and you can expect them to turn up the intensity on home ice tonight. Chicago is coming off an impressive result, beating the defending champions by a score of 4-1 at home on Monday. We've seen these teams play some gritty games in the past, with plenty of rough stuff. The Canucks might be without a couple of their toughest competitors as both Alex Burrows and Kevin Bieksa face potential suspensions after being tossed from the game at Nashville. "You get two guys thrown out on one play. I don't think I've ever seen that before," said Chris Higgins. "It certainly is difficult this time of year too, we need the two points. You try to remind yourself with everything going on that we need the win."

Take CHI.
