Result: Win
This is an 8* play on the Detroit Tigers.

The Twins have been rocked in this series so far, and I don't see any reason why that trend won't continue here in the Motor City on Thursday. The Tigers are swinging hot bats, and the Twins send another struggling hurler to the mound.

Kyle Gibson will toe the slab for the visitors, and he could struggle to stay in the rotation this season. At the age of 27, he's running out of time to prove that he can pitch at the major league level. His numbers against the Tigers aren't very pretty, as he was 2-3 with a 6.00 ERA in five starts versus Detroit last year.

The Tigers hand the ball to a promising young pitcher in Shane Greene, who looked very sharp as a Yankee last year. He was far better away from Yankee Stadium, going 4-0 with a 2.70 ERA in six starts. One of those was at Comerica Park, and he pitched well in that game allowing a pair of runs on five hits, fanning eight over seven innings.

Ian Kinsler is 6-for-14 lifetime versus Gibson, and he was handy with his bat in yesterday's game.

Take DET.
