Schule's MLB MERCHANT of DEATH - **EARLY START**
(MLB) Texas vs. Oakland, 04/09/2015 11:35 AM, Score: 10 - 1
Money Line: -140.00 Oakland (Home)
Result: Loss
This is an 8* play on the Oakland A's.

The A's have taken two of three in this series with Texas, but both of those wins were of the blowout variety. It looks very much like the Rangers are well on their way to another last place finish. I think the price is more than reasonable to back Oakland in the series finale.

The Rangers hand the ball to Nick Martinez, who didn't look impressive last year. Martinez allowed 8 runs on 18 hits over 16 innings this spring, but managed to win a spot in the rotation.

The A's will hand the ball to Kendall Graveman, who was outstanding in spring training. The 24 year old pitching more innings than any other Oakland pitcher (25.1) and he was by far the most impressive. He allowed just one run, and struck out 17 batters walking seven.

The Texas bullpen was one of the worst in the majors last year, and all indications are that it will be more of the same in 2015.

Take OAK.
