The Detroit Red Wings have not looked like much of a team for the post-season over recent weeks, but the one point they gained in a 4-3 overtime loss at Montreal Thursday was enough to clinch a spot in the upcoming playoffs. They've won only one of their last five on the road and are expected to rest players tonight to avoid injuries to key members of the roster. Pavel Datsyuk and Justin Abdelkader are two players expected to sit out, and I doubt the Red Wings will come in here 100% motivated. The same can not be said about the Canes who have had little to play for except their pride for quite a while now but managed to muster enough commitment to beat the Flyers 3-1 in Philly Thursday. They're 3-0-1 over their last four on home-ice and we can expect them to come up with another strong performance in their own building tonight.
