The Chisox came into this season with lofty expectations, but they lost four straight to start the 2015 campaign. That elusive first victory came against the Twins yesterday, and they'll look to carry that momentum into today's Game 3 at US Cellular Field.

Chris Sale will toe the slab for the Sox, making his season debut after recovering from a foot injury. Chicago's ace was one of the best in the majors last season, going 12-4 with a 2.17 ERA in 26 starts. Nine of those wins came at home, and two came against the Twins. Sale was 2-0 with a 2.95 ERA in three starts against the Twins last year.

Minnesota will hand the ball to Phil Hughes, who was hurt by the longball on Opening Day. That should come as no surprise, as he surrendered more home runs than any other pitcher in the majors during his seven seasons with the Yankees. Hughes was able to turn his career around with the Twins last year, but he still struggled against the White Sox. He was 1-2 with a 6.20 ERA in four starts versus Chicago.

The White Sox bullpen was a real sore spot last season, but the acquisition of David Robertson during the off-season gives them reason to be a little more optimistic this year. Robertson came in to close out the ninth inning yesterday, striking out the side.

Take CWS.
