Schule's MLB *VERY EARLY* GRIM REAPER B-L-O-W-O-U-T!
(MLB) Tampa Bay vs. Miami, 04/12/2015 9:10 AM, Score: 8 - 5
Money Line: -140.00 Miami (Home)
Result: Loss
This is an 8* play on the Miami Marlins.

The Marlins came into the 2015 season with high hopes, but they've got just one win to show for themselves after the first five games. They've split the first two in this series with Tampa, and I like their chances of exploiting a pitching mismatch here Sunday afternoon.

Henderson Alvarez will toe the slab for the Fish, and he pitched well on Opening Day. Alvarez allowed a pair of runs on six hits over seven innings in a 2-1 loss against Atlanta in his season debut. He was very tough at home last season, going 7-2 with a 1.60 ERA in 14 starts. He only saw the Rays once in 2014, and he tossed a complete game shutout in that contest.

The Rays will hand the ball to Nathan Karns, who was lit up in his season debut. The 27 year old was torched for six runs on five hits and four walks in a loss to the Orioles. He's given little reason to be any more optimistic as he starts on the road in Miami, as he continues to put men on base with a lack of control of his pitches.

He'll have his hands full with Giancarlo Stanton, who led the NL in home runs and finished second in RBIs in 2014. He did the bulk of his damage in Miami, where he hit 24 of his 37 homers, and recorded 67 of his 105 RBIs.

Take MIA.
