Schule's MLB AFTERNOON EXECUTIONER - **EARLY START**
(MLB) Milwaukee vs. Chi Cubs, 05/01/2015 10:20 AM, Score: 0 - 1
Money Line: -168.00 Chi Cubs (Home)
Result: Win
This is an 8* play on the Chicago Cubs.

The Cubbies are sitting in second place in the NL Central, 2.5 games back of St. Louis. They have won four of their last five overall, and host the worst team in the majors (Milwaukee) as Wrigley this afternoon.

Jon Lester will toe the slab for the home team, and he's coming off an encouraging performance. Lester (0-2, 6.23 ERA) allowed three runs on five hits while fanning 10 in a 7-3 win over the Reds his last time out. I got a better feel for my cutter tonight and was able to make some offspeed pitches, which is obviously key against this team," Lester said. "I'm learning. New league, new faces, new guys."

The Brewers hand the ball to Wily Peralta, who has struggled on the road. Peralta (0-3, 5.04 ERA) allowed four runs on 10 hits over just five innings in a loss to St. Louis in his only start on the road so far. Last year he was 1-3 with a 4.50 ERA in four starts against the Cubs.

To say that Anthony Rizzo owns Peralta might not really put it into perspective. He's 11-for-24 with five home runs and 11 RBIs versus Peralta lifetime.

Take CHC.
