The Giants got off to a terrible start to the season, but they've turned things around winning six of their last nine. San Francisco took Game 1 of this series versus the Angels at AT&T Park, and they look good again this afternoon.

Tim Hudson will toe the slab for the Giants, and he's been as steady as ever. Hudson (0-2, 3.91 ERA) allowed three runs on eight hits over seven innings in a 5-4 win at Colorado his last time out. He didn't get credit for the victory, but he has given the Giants three quality starts in four outings.

The Angels hand the ball to Hector Santiago, who has struggled with his command. Santiago (2-1, 2.28 ERA) allowed a pair of runs on four hits and six walks in 5 1/3 innings in a loss to Texas his last time out.

Albert Pujols is sidelined with a hamstring injury, and he is expected to be out of the starting lineup for this afternoon's game.
