Schule's MLB AFTERNOON EXECUTIONER - **EARLY START**
(MLB) Philadelphia vs. Miami, 05/03/2015 9:10 AM, Score: 6 - 2
Money Line: -177.00 Miami (Home)
Result: Loss
This is an 8* play on the Miami Marlins.

The Fish are hot, coming into tonight's home game as winners of nine of their last 10. They crushed the Phillies 7-0 yesterday, and with another mismatch on the mound tonight, I think the result will be roughly the same.

Jarred Cosart will toe the rubber for the Marlins, and he tossed a gem in his last start. Cosart (1-1, 2.49 ERA) tossed eight scoreless innings allowing just two hits in a no decision his last time out. He's been solid in all of his starts this season, and his day/night splits over the last three seasons show that he favors afternoon games.

The Phillies will hand the ball to Severino Gonzalez, who makes just his second career starts. His first outing was a disaster, as he was rocked for seven runs on 10 hits, failing to get out of the third inning in a loss to St. Louis.

The Phillies own the league's worst offense, ranking dead last in the major leagues with just 66 runs scored.

Take MIA.

GL,

Jesse Schule.
