Result: Win
This is an 8* play on the San Francisco Giants.

The defending champs started off the season quite slowly, but have since won 8-of-11. They host San Diego in Game 1 of a three game set at AT&T Park tonight, and I like the home team in this one.

Madison Bumgarner will toe the slab for San Francisco, and he's coming off a couple of dominant outings. Bumgarner (2-1, 3.73 ERA) faced off against Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers in his last two starts, and he allowed just three runs on 11 hits over 14 1/3 innings, helping the Giants win both games. He's 5-2 with a 3.67 ERA in 10 starts versus San Diego since 2012.

The Padres hand the ball to Tyson Ross, who has never been sharp on the road. Ross (1-2, 4.55 ERA) allowed four runs on five hits over five innings in a loss to Houston his last time out. He mad one start in San Francisco last season, allowing four runs on eight hits over 5 1/3 innings in a loss. Ross has been quite successful pitching in San Diego's pitcher's park, but I don't like his chances on the road in Frisco.

Take SF.
