This is a 10* play on the Oakland A's.
The Twins went on a nice little run, winning five straight prior to last night's Game 2 loss to the A's. I like Oakland in the rubber match tonight with a hot starer on the hill.
Scott Kazmir will toe the slab for the visitors, and he's having a good season so far. Kazmir (2-0, 1.62 ERA) allowed three runs on six hits over six innings in a win at Texas his last time out. He's owned the Twins, going 5-0 with a 2.68 ERA in seven starts since 2012.
The Twins hand the ball to Kyle Gibson, who is also off to a hot start this season. Gibson (2-2, 3.56 ERA) was rocked for five runs in six innings, losing his only previous start versus Oakland.
As well as Gibson has pitched this season, I can't trust him based on poor results in previous seasons.
