Schule's 10* MLB AFTERNOON EXECUTIONER - **EARLY START**
(MLB) Baltimore vs. NY Yankees, 05/09/2015 9:05 AM, Score: 6 - 2
Money Line: -116.00 NY Yankees (Home)
Result: Loss
This is a 10* play on the NYY.

The Bronx Bombers are the creme of the crop in the AL East so far, and they host the cellar dwelling Orioles in a matinee at Yankee Stadium Saturday. Baltimore has lost four straight, and I don't like it's chances on the road here in the Bronx.

Chase Whitley will toe the slab for the Yankees, and he's making just his third start of the season. Whitley (1-0, 0.75 ERA) tossed seven scoreless innings, striking out six in a no decision at Toronto his last time out. His season debut (only other appearance) was much the same, as he allowed one run on six hits with five strikeouts in five innings in a win over Tampa.

The Orioles hand the ball to Wei-Yin Chen, who has a history of struggling against the Yankees. Chen (0-1, 2.83 ERA) allowed a pair of runs on seven hits and two walks over six innings in a no decision versus Tampa. That was at home, but he's been torched for 10 runs on 14 hits in two starts on the road. He's also 1-3 with a 4.88 ERA in his last five trips to New York.

The Yanks have been playing better baseball overall, and their bullpen has been more reliable than Baltimore's.

Take NYY.
