Schule's MLB MERCHANT of DEATH - MIA@SF
(MLB) Miami vs. San Francisco, 05/09/2015 5:05 PM, Score: 6 - 2
Money Line: -165.00 San Francisco (Home)
Result: Loss
This is an 8* play on the San Francisco Giants.

The Giants have split the first two games of this series versus Miami, and I like the home team here in the rubber match tonight. The Giants will have their big horse on the hill, and should be well worth the price.

Madison Bumgarner will toe the slab for San Francisco, coming off three straight wins. Bumgarner (3-1, 3.03 ERA) tossed seven scoreless innings, giving up just two hits in a home win over the Padres his last time out. Prior to that he out-dueled Clayton Kershaw in back to back starts, once in LA and once at home.

The Fish hand the ball to David Phelps, who hasn't fared so well on the road this season. Phelps (1-0, 3.24 ERA) allowed two runs on six hits and three walks in a loss at Washington his last time out. He's 6-9 with a 5.13 ERA in 22 starts on the road since 2012.

Dee Gordon is leading the majors with a batting average of .437 but he's just 3-for-13 with four strikeouts lifetime versus the Mad Bum.

Take SF.
