Money Line: -160.00 NY Yankees (Home)
Result: Win
This is an 8* play on the NYY.
The Bronx Bombers have taken two of the first three in this series versus the Orioles, and they are a heavy favorite here in the series finale at Yankee Stadium Sunday.
Michael Pineda will toe the slab for New York, and he's having himself a fine season for the Yankees. Pineda (4-0, 2.97 ERA) tossed eight scoreless innings in a win over Toronto his last time out. The 26 year old is 1-0 with a 0.73 in two starts versus Baltimore in his career.
The Orioles hand the ball to Bud Norris, who hasn't had as much success as he did in 2014. Norris (1-3, 9.75 ERA) allowed three runs on seven hits over seven innings in a loss to the Mets his last time out. It sounds quite possible that Norris won't be able to go, as he's been battling an illness.
"We did a couple things out of our bullpen to be able to cover ourselves, if necessary," Showalter said. "Hopefully, he will be ready to go."
Alex Rodriguez is 2-for-2 with a home run lifetime versus Norris, and after sitting out yesterday he is likely to return to action in today's game.
Take NYY.
