Schule's MLB CAPITAL PUNISHMENT - **VERY EARLY START**
(MLB) Atlanta vs. Washington, 05/10/2015 9:35 AM, Score: 4 - 5
Money Line: -163.00 Washington (Home)
Result: Win
This is an 8* play on the Washington Nationals.

The Nats have won four of five on this current home stand, and they will look to complete the sweep against Atlanta this afternoon. This looks like a good spot to back the home team with a mismatch on the mound.

Jordan Zimmerman will toe the slab for the Nats, and he's coming off a win in his last start. Zimmerman (2-2, 4.15 ERA) allowed two runs on six hits over seven innings in a win over Miami his last time out. He's been far better at home than he has been on the road, posting an ERA of 1.86 in three starts. That comes as no surprise, he's 24-8 with a 2.88 ERA in 51 starts at home over the last three seasons.

The Braves hand the ball to Alex Wood, who really got roughed up in his latest start. Wood (1-2, 4.32 ERA) was torched for three runs on nine hits and two walks over just 4 1/3 innings in a loss to Philadelphia. Prior to that he allowed five runs on six hits over five innings in a loss to Washington his last time out.

Bryce Harper has been eating his Wheaties... he's hit five home runs in his last three games, and he's hitting .455 lifetime versus Wood.

Take WAS.

Jesse Schule
