The White Sox are heating up, coming back home to host the Indians off five straight wins on the road. Cleveland is still spinning it's wheels, sitting dead last in the AL Central with a record of 14-22. The series opener looks like it could be a pitcher's duel, but Cleveland's ace has not impressed this season, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Kluber get clobbered.
Kluber (1-5, 4.27 ERA) tossed eight scoreless innings, striking out an incredible 18 batters in a home win over the Cardinals his last time out. That was his first win of the season though, and he's 0-3 with a 5.00 ERA on the road.
The White Sox hand the ball to Chris Sale, who's coming off a real gem. Sale (3-1, 5.09 ERA) allowed a pair of runs on just three hits while fanning 11 in eight innings in a win at Milwaukee his last time out. He's 10-3 with a 2.52 ERA in his last 18 starts at Cellular Field.
Michael Brantley leads the Indians with a .348 batting average this season, but he's 3-for-22 with 10 strikeouts against Sale in his career.
