This is a 10* play on the Philadelphia Phillies.

The Phillies still rank dead last in the major leagues in runs scored, but their bats are heating up lately. Philadelphia has won five straight, and they've plated 24 runs during that span.

Cole Hamels will toe the slab for the Phillies, and he's had success against the Rockies in recent seasons. Hamels (3-3, 3.53 ERA) allowed a pair of runs on five hits, while striking out nine over seven innings in a win over Pittsburgh his last time out. He's 21-16 with a 2.76 ERA in 49 starts on the road over the last three seasons, and he's 2-2 with a 2.92 ERA in five starts versus Colorado during that span.

The Rockies hand the ball to Jordan Lyles, who's having a tough season so far. Lyles (2-3, 4.30 ERA) left with a hand injury after the first inning in his last start. Prior to that he was torched for 11 runs on 17 hits over 12 innings in back to back losses.

The Rockies have lost 12 of their last 14 overall, and I don't like their chances against a hot Philly team with their ace on the mound.

Take PHI.
