Schule's 10* MLB Beast of the East - STL@NYM
(MLB) St. Louis vs. NY Mets, 05/19/2015 3:10 PM, Score: 10 - 2
Money Line: -117.00 St. Louis (Away)
Result: Win
This is a 10* play on the St. Louis Cardinals.

The Cards lost Game 1 by a score of 2-1, and we should expect another pitcher's duel here at Citi Field in Game 2. I'll take the visitors to avenge yesterday's loss.

Michael Wacha will toe the slab for St. Louis, and he's having himself a real breakout year. Wacha (5-0, 2.06 ERA) allowed one run on five hits while fanning seven in five innings in a win over Cleveland his last time out. The Cardinals are a perfect 7-0 this season when Wacha starts, and he's 3-0 with a 1.85 ERA in four starts on the road.

The Mets hand the ball to Jonathon Niese, who has been having a fine season in his own right. Niese (3-3, 2.49 ERA) was rocked for six runs on six hits over 6 1/3 innings in a loss at Chicago his last time out. His numbers at home this season are quite impressive, but he's picked up just 12 wins in 43 starts at Citi Field over the last three seasons.

The current St. Louis lineup has really locked in on Niese, hitting a collective .345 against him. Jason Heyward has hit .321 with a pair of home runs and eight RBIs off Niese lifetime.

Take STL.
