Point Spread: 3.50 | -110.00 Stanford (Away)

This is a 10* play on the Stanford Cardinal.

The Huskies are a team on the rise, but I am not quite convinced they are ready to take the next step and knock off the defending PAC12 champions. Washington has four wins, and three of those came against cupcakes (Portland State, Rutgers and Idaho). Last week on the road they needed overtime to sneak past Arizona, and the Wildcats ran for 308 yards and three TDs in that game. That could be a warning sign ahead of Friday's game, especially when you consider that Christian McCaffrey had a total of 300 all purpose yards in Stanford's 31-14 win in last year's meeting. The only real question mark for Stanford this season was at the quarterback position, but Ryan Burns proved he's a gamer by engineering a game winning drive to score the go ahead touchdown with 24 seconds left on the clock in last week's win at UCLA. Stanford's defense ranks Top 10 nationally allowing an average of just 12 points per game. Until I see otherwise, I have to assume that the Cardinal are still the class of the conference. I'll take the points with what I consider to be the superior team.

Take STAN.
