The Coach's 10* NHL Total ANNIHILATOR - WPG@NJD
(NHL) Winnipeg vs. New Jersey, 10/30/2014 3:00 PM, Score: 1 - 2
Total: 5.50 | 113.00 Over
Result: Win
The New Jersey Devils were flying high at the start of the season winning their first three games while outscoring their opponents 13-6. They have not recorded more than three goals in any game since though, and I think we will see a low-scoring contest here as they will host the ever so defensively solid Winnipeg Jets.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Special Teams - The Devils have struggled on the penalty kill so far, ranking dead last killing only 66.7% of their penalties. Luckily for them the Jets does not pose a big threat on the power play, managing only three goals on 32 opportunities. Vice versa New Jersey has been rather effective on the power play, scoring on more than a quarter of their chances, but the Jets have killed almost 85% of their penalties and should be able to handle whatever the Devils throws at them.

2. Ondrej Pavelec - The Czech did not have much luck against the Islanders on Tuesday, conceding three goals on 21 shots in the 4-3 win. He will be poised to have a good performance tonight though, going 3-0-1 with a 1.47 GAA over his last four starts against the Devils.

3. X-factor - These two teams have a history of playing tight games, with all of the last four meetings going under the total.

Selection: This is a play on WPG@NJD to go under the total (10*)
