The Coach's MLB Early Bird *SPECIAL* - Rangers@Indians
(MLB) Texas vs. Cleveland, 05/27/2015 8:10 AM, Score: 3 - 12
Money Line: -159.00 Cleveland (Home)
Result: Win
The Texas Rangers have battled themselves back to a .500 record with seven consecutive wins. They seek to complete the sweep of a three-game set at Progressive Field with yet another win against the Cleveland Indians this afternoon, but my money is on the home team who had won six straight coming into this series.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Tribe will hand the ball to Carlos Carrasco (5-4, 4.74 ERA) who's coming off a solid "W" when he held the Reds to two runs on four hits over six innings here in Cleveland on May 22. He had seven strikeouts in that contest and ranks among the major-league leaders with 10.58 strikeouts per nine innings on the season. He has struggled against the Rangers throughout his career going 0-2 with a 7.29 ERA in five games (three starts), but can expect plenty of run-support here as the Texans will counter with Colby Lewis (4-2, 3.49 ERA). The right-handed veteran is 2-1 against Cleveland over seven career games (six starts), but it's behind a 6.75 ERA. He's coming in ice-cold having been lit up in two consecutive starts, giving up a total of 11 runs (10 earned) on 15 hits over just 11 2/3 innings.

2. Road Woes - Texas two wins in this series is its only over the last eight meetings at Progressive Field and it is 1-5 in its last six road games versus a team with a home winning % of less than .400.

3. X-Factor - Jason Kipnis is 10-for-22 versus Texas this season and a respectable 3-for-9 against Lewis lifetime.

Selection: This is a play on the Cleveland Indians (8*)
