The Coach's MLB Gourmet *HOME COOKIN'*
(MLB) Atlanta vs. Chi Cubs, 08/20/2015 4:05 PM, Score: 1 - 7
Point Spread: -1.50 | -115.00 Chi Cubs (Home)
Result: Win
The lowly Atlanta Braves are just 21-43 on the road this season and have won just two of their last seven games. The San Diego Padres swept them at Petco Park Mon-Wed and it won't get any easier as they travel to Wrigley Field for a four-game series against the Cubs. Chicago is looking to bounce back from three consecutive losses. They had won nine straight prior though and they're looking good to put an end to the skid tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Braves hand the ball to Mike Foltynewicz (4-4, 5.61 ERA) who was lit up for six runs on nine hits in 4 2/3 innings against the D'backs his most recent start. He's still looking for his first road-win on the season going 0-2 behind a 4.78 ERA in eight appearances, five starts. The Cubs will counter with Jake Arrieta (14-6, 2.39) who's been terrific all season long, particularly of late going 8-1 with a 1.35 ERA over his last 11 starts. He's allowed only one homer over that span while holding opponents to a .166 batting average.

2. Situational - The Braves are have lost six straight as an underdog of +201 or greater and they've lost five straight away from home with Foltynewicz on the mound. The Cubs meanwhile 8-2 in their last 10 home games.

3. X-Factor - Kyle Schwarber is batting .300 over the last seven days and has four home-runs over his last three games home at Wrigley. Another homer tonight would make him the first Cubs rookie since 1914 to homer in four straight home games.

Selection: This is a play on the Chicago Cubs (6*)
