NCAA Football Game of the Month
(NCAAF) Temple vs. UCF, 10/15/2016 3:30 PM, Score: 26 - 25
Point Spread: -3.50 | -107.00 UCF (Home)
Result: Loss
These two teams come into this game in very different fashions. Temple just lost to Memphis last week and gave up a ton of yardage. UCF's game was cancelled due to Hurricane Matthew, which means they are well rested and have had plenty of time to game plan for this game. The Knights will rely on their running game to do most of the heavy lifting and we believe that's a great idea against this Owl defense. Senior Dontravious Wilson leads the way with 279 yards and seven scores while freshmen Adrian Killins (254 yards) and Jawon Hamilton (227) have also contributed to the cause. The Knights average five-yards per carry and an effective running game will allow the QB duo of Justin Holman and McKenzie Milton to take shots down field. Temple doesn't play very well on the road as noted by its 0-5 ATS mark in true road games. On the other hand, UCF owns a 4-1 ATS mark in its last five games. With the extra rest and time to prepare for what is a very vanilla temple offense, UCF should make it three wins in a row.
