San Diego State has played nine straight unders and held opponents to allow less than 62 points in five consecutive games. Furman has been a high-scoring team this season, but we saw them get slowed down by a tremendous defensive Virginia team and a slower pace in round one that led to a 68-67 final. The Paladins did show a great effort defensively in the win over Virginia, and they will be able to carry that over against a San Diego State team that has been held to 67 points or less in six straight games.
