With the off day Sunday and rested bullpens, I like a low scoring game here. Braves starter Max Fried has not pitched since Sept. 21, but I think he will give ATL at least four solid innings. Fried was 8-1 with a 2.55 ERA this season and allowed one earned run in five inning against the Phillies on Sept. 12. The Braves bullpen will have the arms ready in this crucial game.
Zack Wheeler has a 2.55 ER and 0.73 WHIP in 7 career postseason starts. Zack Wheeler is 4-1 with a 1.87 ERA in his last five road starts against the Braves including last season's postseason.
The long layoff may not have been a good recipe for the hot Braves offense.
