Believe it or not, the Oakland A's have been the third-best road team in MLB for sports bettors this season, turning +$603 profit overall in away games. Now the Yankees are the best home team in baseball, but they are also coming off a hard-fought and emotional series against the Astros.
The Yankees bats struggled in the last three games against Houston (before a late comeback Sunday) and will have a tough matchup against Paul Blackburn. Blackburn is 5-0 with a 1.00 ERA on the road this season, and as bad as the A's have been overall they are 7-1 when Blackburn has started on the road this season. The Yankees are by far the better team, but in this situation, and at this price, I can't pass on Oakland.
