Dating back to last season, Northern Illinois has scored at least 28 points in 11 of their last 13 games, and the defense has allowed at least 26 points in 12 of their last 13. This season NIU is rated 115th allowing 436.8 yards per game, and 129th giving up 311.8 passing yards per game.
NIU starting QB Roky Lombardi could be back for this game, but if not Ethan Hampton has also done a nice job filling in.
As for Toledo, they are averaging 43.3 ppg at home this season, I understand that two games were against Long Island and UMass, but they are explosive for a team, that likes to run first. QB Dequan Finn is also a dangerous dual threat whose ability to run will lead to him having a big game against NIU's weak pass defense.
