The Kansas City Royals handed the Texas Rangers a 3-1 defeat on Friday but they're 0-6 in their last six games following a win. Look for the Rangers to bounce back with a victory on Saturday behind their All Star ace Cole Hamels.

Hamels (10-2, 3.00 ERA) allowed just one run on four hits through eight strong innings at Wrigley Field his last time out. The left-hander is 7-1 with a 1.84 ERA in 10 road starts on the year and the Rangers are 25-6 in Hamels' last 31 starts overall.

Yordano Ventura (6-7, 4.97) will toe the slab for Kansas City. He's 2-2 with a 4.84 ERA in four career meetings with Texas and current Rangers are batting .396 over 53 at bats against the right-hander. The Royals have lost each of his last four starts.
