NCAAF - USF head coach Jeff Scott was on the Clemson coaching staff, including many years as co-offensive coordinator, from 2008 to 2019. He is plenty familiar with NC State. Last season was Scott's first as head coach of the Bulls and he truly did not even have a chance to get things off the ground. No spring for USF as it was cancelled due to covid. The team with a first year coach came into fall 2020 a train wreck on the field and it showed. This team will be much better this season. They are not going to win this game but, per the simulation report, the points are far too generous. USF will be a much more competitive team this season and Scott knows quite a lot about the Wolfpack. NC State has a strong team this season but they are over-valued here and win this by 10 to 14 at the most. Play SOUTH FLORIDA
