We like the Dodgers in the Sunday Night Baseball finale of the weekend. Lance Lynn who was just acquired by the Dodgers before the deadline made his first start for the boys in blue vs the A's and threw a quality start going 7 innings, giving up 3 earned runs on 5 hits. Yes, it was against the A's who are terrible, however it has to give him some motivation and to suddenly be thrust into the limelight of ESPN SNB, he will be up for this game. Rich Hill, a former Dodger, has been consistent this season. We say consistent because it consistently mediocre to below average in all metrics across home/away, day/night, first half, second half. It's like this guy is completely predictable, he's going to give you a 4.75 ERA and 1.5 WHIP every time out no matter when or where. That won't bode well vs the Dodgers who will be up to take the rubber match after these two teams split the first two games here in Petco Park. Let's roll with the Dodgers here tonight.
