Michael Lorenzen just threw a no hitter last night vs Washington, and now the Nats get to see Aaron Nola on the mound today. Nola struggled some in his last start against the Kansas City Royals, as he allowed eight hits and five runs in 5 1/3 innings in a 7-5 loss last Friday. Nola is 7-8 with a 3.94 ERA in 28 career starts against the Nationals, and we think the Nats will be up to hit him as any team is always embarrassed to be no hit, and we think they rally together and bounce-back today. Left-hander Patrick Corbin (7-11, 5.03) is expected to start for the Nationals. In Corbin's last start, against the Cincinnati Reds on Friday, he gave up four hits and three runs in 6 1/3 innings of a game the Nationals won 6-3 in 10 innings. Corbin is 6-9 with a 4.96 ERA in 19 career starts against the Phillies. The Phillies likely stay hot as they scored 7 runs last night, and we think this game goes over the posted total.
