Take #970. Take Minnesota Twins over Texas Rangers
(MLB) Texas vs. Minnesota,
Money Line: -125.00 Minnesota (Home)
Result: Win
We like that the Twins come in off a loss here, and it seems as if the Rangers have started to tail off, losing six in a row. Andrew Heany starts for Texas, and has a respectable 3.38 ERA in his last three outings, however his WHIP in that same timeframe is 1.78. Meaning he has been lucky and pitched out of trouble. He gave up 7 hits in just 3.2 innings last time out vs Milwaukee, and does not pitch all that well in evening games in general. Pablo Lopez has been lights out lately, having not allowed a run in his last 19 innings pitched, with only a 0.95 WHIP. The Twins are 36-26 at home, so they play well at Target Field, and the Twins are 5-2 in their last 7 games, so both teams are headed in opposite directions currently. Let's roll with the Twinkies tonight.
