Navy has been on a downhill slide ever since the Covid pandemic. Ken Niumatalolo was let go after 15 years, but Navy stayed within the family and promoted defensive coordinator Brian Newberry. He is familiar with the program and players, and Navy is a very experienced group. Navy is 32-21 ATS as an underdog over the last 10 years and they are 11-6 ATS in neutral site games. They have been particularly effective as a big dog. Over the last five years Navy has been an underdog of 15 or more points 10 times. They are 9-1 ATS in those games. We think this one is a little closer than most expect, and we will grab the points with the Middies.
