George Kirby (10-8, 3.28 ERA), is scheduled to start Tuesday night when the Mariners host the Oakland Athletics. Kirby is tied for second in the major leagues by getting the first pitch in the strike zone 69.3 percent of the time. He has a 0.92 WHIP in his last three outings and we think he holds Oakland at bay tonight. The A's plan to send left-hander Ken Waldichuk (2-7, 6.05 ERA) to the mound on Tuesday. His numbers are not great however, he did get blown up by the White Sox last time out and we think he will bounce-back here. Let's roll with the under.
