Take #118 Oregon State over Utah
(NCAAF) Utah vs. Oregon State,
Point Spread: -4.00 | -110.00 Oregon State (Home)
Result: Win
We have a Top 10 team that is an underdog. That's a giant red flag. So is the fact that this spread is showing a reverse line movement, with the majority of the action coming in on Utah but the spread moving Oregon State's way. We don't think that Cam Rising is going to play in this game. We think that is part of the reason this number is moving. And if Rising does play, how effective is he going to be in his first real action in months? Oregon State is no joke. They nearly came back and knocked off a really good Washington State team last week on the road. Oregon State has dominated its three other opponents and the only thing standing between them and a 12-game winning streak is three-point losses at Washington last November and Wazzou last week. This team has a great home field advantage and last year they knocked off Oregon on Corvallis and nearly took out USC, losing 17-14 at home. Oregon State has revenge for a savage 42-16 beating they took in Utah last year. This isn't the same caliber of Utah team. The Utes look like a team that is hanging on by its fingernails. They got lucky to come from behind and beat a Baylor team on the road that is a mess. They also benefitted from penalties and turnovers to barely hang on against a young UCLA team (that doesn't play well on the road). This is a huge spot for Oregon State. They are at home, hosting a wobbly Top 10 team, in a nationally televised spot. Let's roll with the Beavers.
