Both sides have split their first two games, Detroit opened their season with a hard-fought 4-3 loss to the Devils last Thursday, then took down the Lightning by a 6-4 in Detroit on Saturday. After a wild training camp, when Vincent was installed as head coach following Mike Babcock's abrupt resignation, Columbus is opening their season with a four-game homestand. In Thursday's opener, they lost 4-2 to the Flyers, then beat the Rangers 5-3 on Saturday. We like Columbus to show up here as this is their home opener and we think they rally around their new head coach. Detriot comes off a big 6-4 win yesterday vs the Lightning, so this is definitely a letdown spot for them, and quite honestly why would they really care about the Blue Jackets after such a big win yesterday.
