Carolina comes off a 6-3 win over Vegas on Tuesday night, and they are 17-12 which is good considering their multiple losing streaks this season. Pittsburgh has been hit or miss all year long and seem to follow up good wins with duds as evidenced by losing four games in a row earlier this month, and then two great wins over Arizona and Montreal, and then a 7-0 loss to Toronto. They do come in off a 4-3 win over Minnesota, but this is just a team you never know what you will get, and Carolina, as they are in 4th place in the Metropolitan Division are nipping at the heels of the Islanders and Flyers in points. The Hurricanes are much better on the power play as well, and we think they come in here with purpose and get a convincing win over the Penguins.
