So here's the deal. Detroit can't defend the pass, and SF can't defend the run. Green Bay ran the ball for 136 yards vs the Niners, which isn't a ton, but the Lions have the two headed monster with Montgomery and Gibbs, and they're gonna run the ball, for sure, and probably successfully as well, which is gonna open up playaction for St Brown and La Porta, now one thing to remember about this Niner defense, is they don't give up the deep pass, but Detroit doesn't really throw the ball deep, that's not their game or their style, it's "Death By A Thousand Cuts'' so to speak, Which is a Taylor Swift song btw - Then you have the Niners who will be able to throw the ball vs Detroit, they have the most efficient passing offense in football. What is the Lions weakness? Defending the pass. Entering Sunday, the Lions ranked 30th in Expected Points Allowed allowed per opposing drop back...is Deebo playing? I looked earlier and he's still questionable, but I think both these teams get up and down the field, weather in Santa Clara says 53 degrees...total is high at 51.5 but I think it's high for a reason, and I like this one to be a barnburner, I think one of these teams gets to 30 and the other needs to do their part also.
